The planetary gears in your wheel hubs require extreme-pressure (EP) additives. Our lubrication pack guide shows you exactly which molybdenum disulfide greases to use for maximum protection.
Using standard lithium grease in high-stress pivot points like loader bucket pins or articulating joints is a recipe for rapid wear. The extreme pressure simply squeezes the oil out of the thickener. Molybdenum disulfide (moly) greases contain microscopic plates of metal that bond to the steel surfaces, ensuring that even if the grease base is squeezed out, a slippery metallic barrier remains to prevent metal-to-metal scoring.
